Who would you vote for? Republicans, please don't vote unless you both a. Would not support Trump no matter what in 2020 AND b. Would realistically vote in the Democratic Primary in 2020.

She should really wait until 2024, it would be a Democratic wave.

I'd support either Newsom or Wyden.

1/ Kamala Harris (not on the list)
2/ Kirsten Gillibrand (voted for her)
3/ Al Franken (not on the list)
4/ Maggie Hassan
5/ Tulsi Gabbard
6/ Elizabeth Warren (if she was 10 years younger I would put her on top of this list)

Exactly this. If the DNC force through a Booker or Cuomo then they might as well give up now.

Warren will be another Hillary. Voters don't like when women talk down to voters in a crazy way. It has to be someone reasonable, but electable, not a left-wing kook. Period.

Elizabeth Warren (1st) or Thom Hartmann (2nd). I dislike all of the rest and have no interest in voting for another person from the Clinton-Obama coalition. We need to reclaim the working class and drop the elitist schtick that so many of us (including myself) have used to feel self-righteous. The Democratic Party is supposed to be about the underprivileged (workers, poor, minorities, immigrants, lgbt, etc), not appeasing business interests and being the echo chamber of the upper middle class's neo-Victorian moral supremacy.

True, but you can't be anti-business/anti-success as well. Trump is successful, he looks successful. People don't like anti-rich bashing.

Warren all the way.  She and Sanders will be the face of the opposition the next four years.

The problem is, of course, that Elizabeth Warren is extraordinarily elitist - or is at bare minimum the favorite of the elitist snobs. I like her, but I'm not sure I sense an improvement in this direction.

Warren could do it. Brown perhaps. Harris maybe.
Nobody from the Obama/Clinton echelon will win 2020. No Castro, no Booker, definitely no Cuomo.

Not if John Chiang has anything to say about that.
