SNL just got interesting. Alec will be a permanent fixture on the show now.

great minds think alike  Smiley  Well, I knew I had heard the name and I was vaguely aware that it was an American TV or movie personality, but generally I assumed it was some criminal case.

It was never meant to be a full time gig, tho I am surprised it didn't include the post-election show. We'll probably see him occasionally on SNL as Trump in the next four years, but only occasionally.

Not that it makes much difference to his prospects of playing Trump on the show.

I thought it was genius.
