So Democrats have 48 senate seats.

Perhaps Sue Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Jeff Flake can be convinced to join in some type of (New York-style) Independent Republican / Democratic Senate coalition.

Jeff Flake isn't a fan of Trump and if he doesn't jump ship, he's probably going to be primaried. If he makes accommodation with the Dems, I think he'd be solid in 2016.

Thoughts?
