Joe Biden is your president. Deal with it.

Let's say the electors decide to vote for Hillary on December 19th due to the popular vote.

I would rather Trump be president for 8 years and usher in a new era of American politics than Hillary get into office through elector shenanigans.

It's an amazingly bad precedent to set.

I might agree, except for the fact that she won the popular vote.

The odds on this happening are basically zero.

If they were going to choose someone besides Donald Trump, it shouldn't be Clinton.

They would be better off finding someone uncontroversial

That person would immediately become controversial.

I would imagine every single vulnerable Democrat up for reelection in 2018 would immediately cry foul.

Heck, Joe Manchin was already criticizing Harry Reid for calling Trump a sexual predator. He basically said the election is over so we need to move on.

If that were to somehow happen, it'd probably be best if she resigned immediately and let Tim Kaine take over.

Which, by and large, probably wouldn't affect the people calling for the EC to do this.

2018 Senate Map would be Safe/Likely/Lean R in most states. Tossups would be MA, RI, VT, MD, CA, WA, and HI. The only Tilt D state is Delaware.

Congress impeaches Hillary almost immediately and Kaine appoints a Cabinet with many Republicans, independents, and Libertarians.

Delaware is not more red than Hawaii or Maryland, no.
