With the potential of so many people running in the 2020 Democratic primary, ranging from Avenatti to Harris, Booker to Warren, Biden to Bloomberg and everybody in between, what are the chances of a 2020 contested Democratic convention?

If Sanders is running again, I'd say it's likely, because I doubt he drops out before the convention, even if someone else actually has enough delegates to clinch the nomination.

If it's between two other candidates, it's not as likely, though still plausible if it's between a progressive and a moderate, especially if the progressive has Sanders's endorsement.

I don't think it's likely. I would hope that the runner-up learns a lesson from 2016 and concedes as soon and as amicably as possible.
