The ADP had +280.000 on Wednesday.

Usually, the ADP report and the jobs report are not that far apart (+/- 50.000 or 100K at the worst).

Why the big difference this month ?

I don't understand. Isn't this still the Obama economy? Trump hasn't made any changes as of yet.

Trump took credit for good job numbers in February, so anything that is going on with the economy is his sole responsiblity from January 20, 2017 onwards.

Well, if we utilize all facts from the article, we can allocate responsibility as follows:

Obama is responsible for the lowest monthly unemployment rate since May 2007 of 4.5% (obviously).
The monthly job creation slowdown caused by winter weather is caused by Trump's climate change policies.
The Evangelicals are responsible for scheduling Easter so late and thus not buying anything in March.

And the manufacturing boom captured by ADP is fake news.

Half of those jobs created are just for Jared Kushner alone

*golf clap*

On a more serious note... with the retail employment picture darkening, it's pretty easy to foresee a scenario where even a very mild retrenchment in growth (say, one quarter at 0%, not even negative), could lead to 100k job losses as Sears, JC Penney, et al file for bankrupcy. That would cascade as their suppliers and peripheral stores at malls across the country also fail.

The economy is growing, wages are going up, and consumers are still spending pretty briskly... and these retailers are all still dying... any bump in the road and they will collapse.

I mean, Obama blamed the economy for six years on his predecessor...

That's not a realistic option for Trump considering he already took responsibility for February's jobs report. You can't take responsibility for February then blame Obama for March.

Why? Logic has been thrown out the window. Hypocrisy has been going on in politics since it began. He also couldn't send missiles to Syria because of those 5 tweets about how Obama shouldn't, right?

Despite all that being true, it's still harder to claim ownership of the economy for February then toss it back to Obama for March. He'll have to find some other way to lie about and distort the situation.

One thing to remember is that the jobs report has a fairly wide margin of error; ISTR that it's about 90K, although I'm not 100% certain.  So a report of +98K could quite reasonably mean anything from +8K to +188K.  The higher end of that would be consistent with forecasts.
