I'm watching the C-SPAN coverage and there are a lot more people around Keith's booth than Tom's. Some are around Jehmu's.

A lot of them probably aren't voters though.

Yeah, most likely. But it's still pretty interesting.

Reporters have said that there are lot more Ellison folks in the non-voting supporters area than for other candidates.

CNN is claiming Tom Perez is the frontrunner and that he "may even win on the first ballot"

I don't see that happening.

They are finally ready to start. Nominating speech order: Perez, Boynton Brown, Ronan, Ellison, Buttigieg, Greene, Peckarsky.

Speaking for Perez: Eric Garcetti, Yvette Lewis, and Jaime Harrison.

I'm predicting a very close first ballot with Perez narrowly edging out Ellison.

Does anyone else have an irrational hatred for Jaime Harrison, or is it just me?

I want to know which delegation because Ellison has large Democratic states like CA, MN, OR, WA, and MI supporting. Large delegations to come out for Perez is FL, VA, and I assume MD.

I'm predicting an easy Perez win on the first ballot.  It won't even be close.

At-Large, probably the mid-Atlantic states (NY, PA, NJ), MA, and CT.

Agreed, but Perez's other speakers were good.

"There are millions of people marching in the streets we need to take advantage of"

The wording, lol. Don't get me wrong, I really like Boynton-Brown, but she's a walking gaffe machine.

There go my people. I must find out where they are going so I can lead them.

Sam Ronan has no one to nominate him, so he had Brazille do it. Now he's just speaking for himself. Sad!
