If Ellison is anti-Semitic how does he win St. Louis Park every two years?
... This sounds a lot like saying Trump can't be anti-Semitic because his son-in-law is Jewish.

Tom Perez would be a very strong DNC Chair. He pushed O'Malley to victory in 2006, by a margin almost 5% greater than was thought likely.

Pete Buttigieg would be a great DNC Chair. He'd be the second gay major party chairperson, and the first major party chairperson to be out while serving as Chair.

Watch this, and if you still support Perez after watching it, you're no progressive:

What a pathetic, stupid, little man.
1. "The Humanist Report" is not real news.
2. The Commerce Secretary is the one you should be questioning about the TPP.

Honestly only Ellison has impressed me so far in his plans for the DNC. It seems to be mostly an Ellison vs. Perez fight, and Perez hasn't really given too many reasons to back him.

I mean, Ellison is an anti-Semite, so...

If Ellison was actually an anti-Semite, which he is so obviously not, then he wouldn't have support from Jews like me, Sanders, and Schumer. Some of his remarks have been at odds with current US policy towards Israel, but I have said just as critical things. That does not make someone anti-Semitic.

Do you consider Trump anti-Semitic?

Buttigieg would also be the second gay Chair of a major party. The mafia is working overtime to get him elected. Let's go kick Ellison's and Perez's butt[igieg]s!

And the first one to be open about it during his chairmanship.

He hasn't openly acknowledged the gay mafia, though.

I still have yet to see an explanation for why Perez jumped in in the first place. What did he see that was wrong with Ellison? If they're so similar, why should Ellison's supporters have to bend the knee?
The same reason all straight, ambitious men would seek such a ceremonial post - a thirst for power of dangerous levels.

With the vote being secret ballot... I wonder how much effect indorsement will really have this year... when members are more likely to think long and hard about who is best to help lay the frame work to take back congress and the presidency, etc. (whether that Ellison or not)

Who are you supporting?  I'm just curious...

He supports Buttigieg and writes like smoltchanov.

Wow! John Fetterman was a Sanders guy. I hope Buttigieg gets elected.

I'm glad to see Javier Gonzales endorsed Buttigieg. Hopefully Polis will endorse him soon, allowing the gay mafia to openly support him.

If the Democrats pick Perez, they can say goodbye to the Bernie wing. THose people won't be voting Democrat for a long time.

Who are we going to be voting for, then?

A lot won't be voting, and others will write someone in or vote 3rd party. And some Bernie people got so pissed at Hillary that they even voted Trump.

I'm aware of that. I had trouble (though I bit the bullet and ended up doing so) marking Clinton on my ballot.

But then we, like everyone else who throws their vote away, will be irrelevant to any political discussion going forward.

I always put political relevance before personal principles.
