St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman won't run for re-election this cycle. It's believed he'll run for Governor or, if Klobuchar goes for that seat, Senate instead.

Is there a reason I'm not seeing Hector Balderas being mentioned? AG stands for Aspiring Governor after all.

Clay Pell isn't ruling out a primary challenge to Raimondo.

In a somewhat interesting story: Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether, who has been a rumored statewide candidate, has changed his party ID from Democrat to Independent. Possible Bill Walker/Greg Orman scenario?

MN-GOV: The Minnesota Star Tribune reports that Rep. Tim Walz is running, and "to expect an announcement soon."

Good news for holding the Governor seat, bad news for holding MN-01.

CO-GOV: Ken Salazar is not running.

Looking more and more like the Ed Perlmutter show.

Rick Nolan is "leaning towards" a run for MN-GOV. Will decide by the end of the month.

GA: Columbus Mayor Teresa Tomlinson (D) is considering running for either Governor or Secretary of State

From what I hear her record as Mayor has been pretty solid.

Alec Ross, former Clinton State Dept. adviser, is running for Governor of Maryland.

"Senior Advisor for Innovation to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton" and "Startup advisor" are two descriptions that make me recoil in disgust.

MN-GOV: State Rep. Matt Dean (R) is in.

CT-GOV: Comptroller Kevin Lembo (D) is likely in. Lembo has been a major critic of Dan Malloy.

State senator minority leader Billie Sutton running for governor.

Interesting backstory. College rodeo star who was paralyzed in an accident.
