1) What would happen if they can't capture a single house of Congress or a plurality of State-level power through the Trump Administration?

2) What would happen if they did run out of enough to support to be viable nationally?

3) If they did "Throw in the Towel", what would it look like? Would we be a one-party country? What would people who are not nationalists or conservatives do/who would they vote for?

This is a ridiculous question to ask when their policies are more popular and they won the popular vote.

The Democrats would win in 2024 or 2028 then.

My main worry here is that the Republicans might be able to amend the Constitution.

My main worry here is that the Republicans might be able to amend the Constitution.

They don't have the numbers to do that, and even if they did, if they changed it in any major way to benefit themselves, the democrats could run a sock puppet and it would win in 2020.

As to your main point. The Democrats are not going anywhere, that much is sure. Even if they did somehow break apart and crumble, some new left leaning party would take their place.

That is probably what will happen if they keep losing. The real question is how that happens. We it be someone like Sanders who does it? Someone like Gene Taylor? Or someone Trump-like?
