Did I miss a thread on this? I'm shocked I didn't see one...

Anyways, I would absolutely vote for Joe Biden if he ran in 2020. Young people really seem to like him (he was part of a progressive administration), but he'd also get the support of establishment types and perhaps more white working class people who voted for Trump this time. He's extremely qualified for the job, maybe a Hillary loss will end up being a blessing in disguise for Biden and he can make one final run for the presidency. An issue is his age, and that is a legitimate concern, but it would not prevent me from voting for him.

What do you all think?

Again, he'll be 78 in 2020. I'm afraid 2016 was his last chance.

He'd make President Trump  running for second term look like a young man.

Why are we always turning to septuagenarians to lead this party?  Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and now Joe Biden?  Enough already.  Our strength as a party lies with younger voters -let's choose someone who is at least young enough to be a Generation Xer.

Because all of the non-septuagenarians didn't get elected/re-elected

Nah, won’t happen. I really like Mr. Vice President, he’s a competent man with a great sense of humor, but he won’t run for age reasons. He will likely play an important role in the campaign though.

Too old, and his speech impediment is getting worse. Trump would absolutely own him in the debates.

I know it might sound far fetched, but I'd like to see Al Franken take on Trump in 2020. Minnesota is going to be super competitive, and Franken has a wholesome appeal to him, in contrast to Trump's p*ssy-grabbing repulsiveness. I can't imagine Al Franken ever sexually harassing a woman.

Indeed it did age poorly. Couldn't imagine him running and winning 4 years back.
