He doesn't even have a chance of making it out of the primary, let alone beating her.

Unless no one else wants to challenge her. There are no more Scott Browns, and Baker's already Governor. Who can actually challenge Warren at this point?

Baker/Brown type candidates wouldn't be able to beat Warren anyway.

Fine, and Republicans don't need MA anyway. There are several other pickup opportunities for them in 2018.

Not going to argue with you there.

Yes, he could obviously win a Senate election in Massachusetts. Come on.

All the people immediately saying he has no chance are totally ignoring the fact that they said the exact thing about Donald Trump....but look who the president elect is.
Now, do I think it is probably he wins, no, but there is always a chance.
... Massachusetts is not America.

I think Silent Cal's point was that nothing is 100% certain in politics. Which is true, but the fact remains that Senate races are getting more polarzed, not less, and Massachusetts is getting more Democratic, not less (part of the 2016 trend was probably Romney, but even with that in mind there's no massive Republican trend here).

I doubt he will win the nomination anyhow.

He also screwed over neighboring Rhode Island with his failed video game development studio.
