Terribly. He'd have to carry all of Trump's baggage with him, and wouldn't be able to win over the voters who were more pro-Trump than pro-GOP this year.

I think Pence actually has the potential to do really well, uniting Trumpists and establishmentarians. Not a candidate I'd be happy with though...
