Predictions to fill those seats are also welcome. Maximum votes 2 because there is no way in ___ that there are more than 2 Democrats in that Cabinet.

Recent Cross Party Cabinet Appointments
William Bennett - Education (Reagan)
William Cohen - Defense (Clinton)
Norman Mineta - Transportation (Bush)
Robert Gates - Defense (Obama)
Ray LaHood - Transportation (Obama)
Chuck Hagel - Defense (Obama)
Robert McDonald - Veterans Affairs (Obama)

There's also always the chance that he offers and no Democrat accepts.

Apparently. Only Democratic presidential vote he cast was for LBJ.

He just took a leadership post in the Senate. He's probably sticking around there.

RAY LAHOOD?!  Offensive to call him a Democrat to this Peorian.  He's as much of a Democrat as John Huntsman is.

I didnt say he was a Democrat. I said he was a Republican appointed to a Democratic Cabinet.

Ah, sorry, haha.  The LaHoods are political royalty in P-Town!

No worries, the LaHoods are a Freedom Family from a Freedom Town. They have done well in the House and I quite liked Ray as our Transportation Secretary.
