Another problem with him running is that he's up for re-election in 2019. It will be tough for him to simultaneously appeal to the Louisiana general electorate and the national Democratic primary electorate.

Yeah, JBE would definitely destroy Trump in a general election. The problem is that then JBE would be President.

I think he's a perfectly good Governor of Louisiana, but he's not my ideal President by a longshot. I am aware that your political views are different from mine and therefore you'll disagree.
