What happens if the GOP successfully thwarts an impeachment of a President whose wrong-doing makes that of Richard M. Nixon look almost like no-harm-no-foul?

The scandal continues to fester, and Trump, being embolded, commits another major abuse of power every month until he's removed from office. The GOP made a Faustian deal and now they're reaping what they sowed.

Where are you getting half? I see 48% opposed to impeachment, 45% for.
