Tim Ryan.

Pelosi did a good job the last decade, but I think it is now time for a renewal. Democrats need fresh new faces. I also wished that somebody like Kirsten Gilibrand would have been elected senate leader instead of Chuck Schumer.

I didn't vote (though I'm always tempted Tongue) but Pelosi has the Catch-22 of being an able administrator and leader but a terribly flawed, virtually un-electable candidate.

I mean, running Pelosi again in 2014 would be the equivalent of the Republican Party nominating George Pataki in 2012 and 2016. The closer Pelosi is to her times in office, the closer she comes to being elected. This was her last chance and she should've made it clear that if she came up short this time, she'd step down. Now she has to go through the embarrassment of either being forced out or presiding over a caucus that will be as rebellious as their Republican colleagues.

We need to discard old guards and inject fresh buffer to dem house caucus.
Voted Tim Ryan, despite rich political experience of Pelosi.

Ryan. Pelosi is a good fundraiser and I don't mind her political views but she has a losing record at this point and she doesn't relate well as a messenger for middle America. Time for a change, give Ryan a shot to reach new voters.

Pelosi. She is good at working in the house, and "old = replace" is stupid. A "fresh face" is not a good reason to replace a highly skilled leader.

Pelosi's been a very competent leader, whether it's passing legislation as Speaker or upholding Obama's vetoes as Leader.  And that's all that should matter, since people don't vote for members of Congress based on party leadership.

Ryan has been in the House for 14 years.  Did anyone know who the heck he was before this?  Now you want him to be a future speaker?

Pelosi sucks, but Ryan sucks even more. Held nose and voted Pelosi since there was no other option.

Whats wrong with Pelosi?  Is it that she's too "establishment" or something?

You didn't hear the Trump rallies. All he is about is keeping his wealthy family and friends wealthy.  He's not at all about the populism that catapulted them into almost unquestioned power 2 weeks ago.

Almost every Atlas person who talks about Ohio knows of him. He's the fourth-ranking Democrat on the Budget Committee. Since Van Holden will no longer be there, only John Yarmuth and and Bill Pascrell are ahead of him. I expect he wants to become Budget Committee Chair in 2018, 2020, or 2022(whichever one the Democrats take the House in.)

Frankly, Pelosi has been in charge for about 12 years. There needs to be a change, partially because of the loses during Pelosi's tenure, and partially because I don't like anyone but Sam Rayburn being a party leader for that long. And Rayburn only because the dynamics of the House were different then.

I'd want to say Ryan but I don't think he's actually 'got It'. Abstain.
