Is it just because he is a staunch movement conservative?  Are they scared for Planned Murderhood's future?

Because the man has issues with black people and has a long history of racial issues. I mean, that makes him a great alt right AG but not a good AG in general.

It's their default setting.

Isn't it amazing how the same fools who are wailing now are the ones who removed the cabinet filibuster? Whoops? Now they are just impotent losers.

So you're OK with a racist as Attorney General of the United States? Or a president-elect of the United States who's first headline in the NYT was being sued by the DOJ in 1973 over housing discrimination?

Just curious.

Sessions has previously labeled the NAACP as "un-american" and "communist-inspired" and had forced "civil rights down our throats". Had been actively seeking to rough up African American voters for Voter Fraud in 1984, which failed in a spectacular way. Also, is against the Voting Rights Act.

He's an unreformed Dixiecrat.

Full context from Wikipedia. Since you're going to say "unreliable witness," I'm going to put this from CNN:

When you combine with the alt-right movement and the whole Trump ethos, you can see how our Attorney General-designate is pretty racist/bigoted.

Also you skipped over Trump being sued for discrimination for housing in NY. Where he and his father explicitly discouraged blacks from settling in their housing.

Maro Lago used to discriminate, and Trump took it over and ended the discrimination.  The ACLU is absolutely Communist inspired and at least partially un-American.  While civil rights are important, the NAACP has some radical elements as well.

The ACLU does have some Communist/anti-American ties. What, you can't deny the facts. Yes, the NAACP had some Communist ties. Sessions will be a tough Attorney General. I think Trump should nominate someone different, but it is what it is.

That doesn't address the DOJ lawsuit in the 1970s, where Trump was accused of racism.

The thing to keep in context is that a lot of Southern racists tended to view the NAACP as "radical" and have a derogatory opinion of organizations like the ACLU.

Take Sessions as a whole, and you find an unreconstructed white Southerner from Alabama who has a long history of backing Dixiecrat values. You also must acknowledge the nationalist right's racial values have been on display during this year.

Question mark

It is racist to be concerned about racism or other people's involvement in racism. Racism is like being a convict. Go to any prison. There isn't a single guilty person there.

Sessions is an unreconstructed Dixiecrat and a massive HP but he might be less bad than Giuliani.

Also HuffPo wrote a pretty scathing and well-documented (real senate hearing transcripts included) piece on the guy, but I'm not going to link that unless you pledge to actually believe what it says.

I hardly see how a racist law system is good for the country.

This tells me that you're either talking out your ass or that you don't view the liberties protected in the constitution as being American. The ACLU has done more to ensure the Constitution is more than meaningless words on paper than any other organization outside maybe the Jehovah's Witnesses.

They're Republicans. They've been okay with racism for decades, at a minimum.

I mean, the ACLU was co-founded by a communist, but that's hardly relevant to anything today.

Also, if we're going to claim Sessions is a racist, we should at least be cognizant of several very anti-racist accomplishments in his career.

The ACLU is a fraudulent democratic shell company masquerading as a "civil liberties" org.  Give me a break!

Justin Amash expressed concern over this selection, so let's not pretend this is some fake liberal outrage. The man's record is terrible and a Republican controlled Senate rejected him for a judicial appointment.

Sure, he prosecuted the leader of the Klan, because no one in their right mind would have refused to do so in such a horrifying murder case. With that said, that does not mean he doesn't have issues with institutionalized racism. He'd be horrible on voting rights and we could see some regressive policy on that.

He's an old time dixiecrat and has the track record of one. Not exactly the type of guy you'd want overseeing civil liberty issues.

In the 1980s, his judicial nomination was rejected, largely due to accusations of racism. Even if you don't accept the validity of the accusations, don't act surprised that they are coming up when Sessions gets nominated to become the AG.
