The 50 States of Atlas

So, I will preface this by saying it's kind of messy and imperfect. Part of that is my fault, part of that is Dave/Joe/whoever made the avatars' fault, and part of it is the curvature of the Earth's fault. Anyway, I decided to make a map of the USA based on Atlas avatars - I picked the most common/notorious/important avatar (in my opinion) and made a map of them. I don't think this has been done before, and it's kind of cool. If anyone has any questions about which avatars I chose and why or anything, really, that's what this thread is for. Enjoy!

I wonder what a partisan tilt map of Atlas would look like (not a mock election that gets brigaded to throw every electoral vote to one candidate, but a legit map based on people who actually are on the forum a decent amount).

It's not based on who the better posters are. That would make a different map. Dibble has the most posts of any Georgian poster, so as I went through I picked L-GA first, and by the time I realized, it was too late to do anything.
