I thought they only came first in Brandenburg in the Euro's?

I meant Halle, not Saxony-Anhalt as a whole.

I would probably vote either PDS or Grüne. PDS if I lived in East Germany or if the new Linkspartei had a change in my area,  Grüne if that wasn't the chase. And SSV if I lived in Slesvig-Holsten and they where runing Wink (they are not Sad )

If Lafontaine is the populist wich I think, I would vote for him. If not, CDU to say "peanuts" towards Turkey, Schroeder and his stupid allies (multiculturalism and pro-islam Green).

I just noticed that I still have the "Wahl-o-mat" (sort of a German political test) software for the 2002 election on my computer.

My results:
1) Greens
2) FDP
3) SPD
4) PDS
5) CDU/CSU

I´m a ecological libertarian! *lol*

Well, wasn´t the election platform of the FDP released just yesterday? I guess they couldn´t start writing the new Wahl-o-mat until now. Huh

Who needs that? Everybody knows what they're going to write anyways. Wink

Just for joke's sake, I did all six Wahlomaten still linked from the main page.
North Rhine Westphalia
1 Greens
2 SPD
3 FDP
4 CDU
Schleswig-Holstein
1 Greens
2 SSW
3 SPD
4 FDP
5 CDU
Saar
1 Greens
2 SPD
3 PDS
4 FDP
5 CDU
Saxony
1 PDS Huh
2 Greens
3 SPD
4 FDP
5 CDU
Bavaria
1 SPD Huh
2 Greens
3 FDP
4 FW
5 CSU
Europe
1 Greens
2 PDS
3 SPD
4 FDP
5 CDU
6 CSU
The FDP always got a negative score, all those ranked above it were always positive scores.

I have to admit that I always had my problems with the state election wahl-o-mats, because I tend to answer almost half of the questions with "neutral" or "don´t know". That´s because I´m not always totally familiar with the current situation in the respective state. For example, the Schleswig-Holstein wahl-o-mat always asks me whether certain bridges or highways (I never ever heard of) should be build. And at least half of the questions of the Saarland wahl-o-mat are about specific details of the school system of the state, which I´m not very familiar with either.

So, the results might be flawed.

Northrhine-Westphalia
1) CDU
2) Greens
3) SPD
4) FDP

CDU, Greens, and SPD were all in the positive range, FDP in the negative.

Schleswig-Holstein
1) Greens
2) SSW
3) FDP
4) SPD
5) CDU

Greens, SSW, and FDP were in the positive range, SPD and CDU in the negative.

Saxony
1) FDP
2) Greens
3) CDU
4) PDS
5) SPD

FDP, Greens, and CDU were in the positive range, PDS and SPD in the negative.

Saarland
1) CDU
2) FDP
3) SPD
4) Greens
5) PDS

CDU and FDP were in the positive range, SPD, Greens, and PDS in the negative.

Bavaria
1) Greens
2) FDP
3) Free Voters of Bavaria
4) SPD
5) CSU

Greens, FDP, and Free Voters were in the positive range, SPD and CSU both exactly between positive and negative.

European Parliament
1) SPD
2) Greens
3) FDP
4) CDU
5) CSU
6) PDS

All in the positive range, except for the PDS.

Summary (together with my Bundestag wahl-o-mat result, where ALL parties were in the positive range):

CDU/CSU
--> in the positive range: 5
--> in the negative range: 1
--> between positive and negative: 1

SPD
--> positive: 3
--> negative: 3
--> neutral: 1

FDP
--> positive: 6
--> negative: 1
--> neutral: 0

Greens
--> positive: 6
--> negative: 1
--> neutral: 0

PDS
--> positive: 1
--> negative: 3
--> neutral: 0

Regional parties (SSW/Free Voters)
--> positive: 2
--> negative: 0
--> neutral: 0

Parties which ranked first
--> Greens: 3
--> CDU: 2
--> SPD: 1
--> FDP: 1
--> PDS: 0
--> Regional parties: 0

Conclusion: Fine, I´m in favour of the Greens, the CDU, the FDP as well as minor regional parties, neutral about the SPD and against the PDS. Cheesy
