Al Gore runs again for prez in '08 and gets the Dem nomination. He picks Sen. Barack Obama, who came in third after HRC, as VP. John McCain as GOP nominee goes with Joe Lieberman as VP, who was Gore's running mate in 2000. How does the election turn out?

Al Gore wins by a large margin. North Carolina could go either way.
