Do you think Bernie knew Hillary was going to lose to Trump? I think it's obvious Bernie thought he'd be a much stronger nominee against Trump, but what about Hillary losing to him?

I think Bernie Sanders expected Hillary Clinton to defeat Trump.  The Trump victory took everybody by surprise, probably even Trump himself.
And as for Sanders being a stronger nominee, I am dubious just because he's a socialist.  Sanders ran as a George McGovern type candidate.  But then again, this was a weird election and maybe he would have done well.

He definitely feared Clinton would lose to Trump, and even said that during the primary, but I don't think he expected Trump to win any more than the rest of us did.

This - Look at Bernie's reactions - Looked like he was sure Hillary would win but feared Trump would do better especially in the rust belt & thus wanted Hillary to campaign on the issues.

ANSWER is NO!

Bernie knew what we knew.

The polls were pretty tight, and election night was a simple proposition.

"Ice the beers, it's easy to feel good."

He was as shocked as the next man.

I think the suspicion was always there, but I don't think he took it seriously.

I think he was less surprised than most of the Clinton camp, most of which had about as much self-awareness as you might expect from a granite counter-top.
