If its Mark Kirk, then Baldwin will win in a landslide.

If 1978 is mirrored, Baldwin

If 2002 is mirrored, the actual Republican and Feingold should've just waited and tried to primary Baldwin or gone back in 2012 the exact moment Kohl announced he was retiring.

Mark Kirk is from Illinois, this won't happen. Would Baldwin lose to Scott Walker or David Clarke?

David Clarke is a Democrat, also, is much more likely to wind up in Trump's White House than run statewide in Minnesota.

Wisconsin, not Minnesota.
And Clarke is a Democrat only because that's how he wins reelection. He describes himself as to the "right of most right wingers" and has attacked Democratic politicians and policies, and would definitely switch parties for a statewide run. But I do see him in Trump's White House rather than staying in Wisconsin politics.

Derp. Meant Wisconsin, obviously.
And yes, he likely would run as a Republican, but ... yeah. White House seems more likely. If not, I don't think he can even realistically get re-elected in Milwaukee. But we'll see.
