We had feuds in our family about brexit, but luckily we all agreed that Trump is a pillock (accompanied with some generous america-bashing, sorry). What about yours? Any fall-outs?

Not really. The people who supported Trump were mostly very loud, while the people who didn't were mostly very quiet. None of my immediate family supported Trump, FTR.

Our family is mostly uniformly Republican aside from my father's sister and her family (who are semi-wealthy, gated community liberals who have seen Hamilton like three times) and my grandmother's brother-in-law (who was the sole Pawlenty supporter I met in 2012 who was not previously a mid-tier staffer on his campaign), so Thanksgiving shall be interesting.

All of my immediate relatives voted for Clinton. A couple aunts, uncles, and cousins are hard-core Paulites-turned-Trumpists, but none of them are people I see all that often, and we never really talked about politics over the course of the election. The main election conflict in my life was Bernie vs. Hillary.

I think we all supported Hillary, but I'm not entirely sure about my mom.

Not really argue, but I did get some weird looks from my mom's side of the family for voting Green. They all basically democrats, so at least we could agree that Trump was a bad choice.

Yes. Family:
Mother: McMullin
Father: Reluctantly Trump
Maternal family(excluding her cousins): Trump
Paternal family: I'm pretty sure 100% Clinton, but I haven't seen anyone besides my paternal grandmother since last year.

Extended: Not enough interaction for such arguments. I know Dad's side would've been pro-Clinton, and Ma's side would've been split between McMullin and trump...but the result of such things is moot when neither side actually bothers to visit.

Immediate: Only on whether or not Clinton could lose to trump. I was the lone person to believe trump could win, even after Comeyghazi (not that different from me vs the typical red avvie).

No arguments in the general election, though we were very split in the primary. My sister-in-law's side of the family is pretty conservative, but they resented Trump and claimed to vote for Clinton as a vote against him.

Yes, in the primaries. Mom was strong Hillary, dad was strong Bernie. Lots of fights.

There was nothing but numbness on November 9th, though.

This, among my immediate family. My extended family leaned toward Trump, however.

Things actually got quite tense between my sister and I and my parents at times, which was weird because we were all so adamantly behind Romney. Sad  So glad it's over.

haha.

No.  My wife mentioned once that if she were able to vote, she'd vote for Trump.  I asked her why? and she said because she absolutely cannot stand Hillary Clinton.  I thought of lecturing her about alternate parties and such, but decided against it.  I have voted for alternative candidates in 3 of the 8 times I've voted for US president, but I recognize that most Americans don't take them seriously.  I suspect that foreigners take them even less seriously, so what's the point of arguing about it?

My son likes Johnson, but he's 11 so it doesn't matter.  I actually encouraged him.  I'm not a Libertarian, but anyone having enough sense to see past D and R has my support in any case.

So I guess we're a Trump/Johnson/Lyttle family.  Three persons, three candidates.  No arguments came out of it, however.  (Don't worry, we have plenty to argue about without bringing politics into any of our discussions.)

Yea. And the fights are a beautiful thing to watch. My immediate family is united in our views, but our relatives are united in opposition.
