http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/22/politics/donald-trump-disavow-groups-new-york-times/

[quote]"I don't want to energize the group, and I disavow the group," Trump told a group of New York Times reporters and columnists during a meeting at the newspaper's headquarters in New York.
"It's not a group I want to energize, and if they are energized, I want to look into it and find out why," he added, according to one of the Times reporters in the room, Michael Grynbaum.

Excellent. I don't want a bunch of Neo-Nazi's who jack it to anime hijacking the movement like they tried to do with Ron Paul four years ago.

Coming from the guy who used the word lugenpresse recently, that's rich. I'd say they've been quite successful.

It's not the alt-right, it's the same old racist underground that has existed for years. If it walks like a duck, it's a duck. If it talks like a duck, it's a duck. If you still don't know this, then ***** WTF?

Hitler disavowed antisemitism in his first year in power.

The alt Right is too small of a base of support to build a presidential administration on, at the moment. This movement has risen so far, so fast through Trump that it has surpassed itself.

Sure thing Wink Every time you adopt a group's language or behavior, you legitimize them. It's a simple as that.

And the use of the German expression for "lying press" legitimizes anti-semitism exactly how? I seem to recall a video of Hitler in a movie screaming "Nein! Nein! Nein!" Should we not use that in popular culture too?

Honey when you use Nazi language; and by that I mean the way they looked and said about things, no the German, you legitimatize the Nazi.  Don't try and say you don't know what your doing because playing dumb only makes it worse.

Does that mean the left will stop calling people "fascist" over and over again when there's clearly no fascism afoot?

Sorry but all this BS Trump is talking about is just that. He talks out of both sides of his mouth and always has. It's what he does best.

It just depends what side of the bed he gets up on each day as to what he will do. He has no beliefs of his own. Doesn't care much about anything but making money, and his family, of course.

A part of me wants him to do well as President so that our country prospers, but a different part of me just wants to laugh in his face. I don't know what to think about him so I've been vacillating all over the place.

If he weren't so mentally unstable there would be something to latch onto, but he is as unbalanced and can be.

(And who would name their baby boy, Baron? Saddle a kid with a name like that....)

Or this. He is also an Austrian who is misunderstood and wants to try new ideas. He seems to be inspired by Milo Yianapoulus. Or is it the other way around? Anyways, isn't this what the Alt-Right is ultimately about? Fun, active young people with a great sense of humor and fashion sense who are misunderstood but are creative about the world and and eager to try new, innovative ideas?
