Seriously, Trump was talking about not accepting the election results and an unpeaceful transition while his supporters were promising armed rebellion but god forbid some on the left want some of the close races reexamined for some closure and we just need to get over it? Scared there might actually be something?

I dont think anything is going to change, but if your a republican and telling democrats to get over it than your being hypocritical.

Why not do a recount in NH, MN and NV? She won NH by less than 3000 votes, NV  by less than 27,000 votes and won MN by less than 45,000 votes. Donald Trump won Pennsylvania by 68,000. So it's only fair.

Progressives should not indulge in conspiracy theories

Yes we should.

All this does is baselessly undermine the legitimacy of a democratic election.

Exactly! Learn from the masters.

Go for it. Isn't there one going on in the NC governor's race?

Democrats, stop using Jill Stein as a scapegoat for Hillary Clinton losing the election.

Hillary Clinton was the reason she lost.

Untrustworthy.

WI election commission denied Jill Stein request for "a hand recount" of ballots.  Instead ballots to be checked by machine.  Stein can sue

Wisconsin election law calls for the county boards of canvassers to decide whether to do a hand recount or a machine recount for federal elections, unless a court orders otherwise.  It's not for the Wisconsin election commission to decide.  It looks like Wisconsin will pay as much attention to their own recount laws as Ohio did in 2004.

Wisconsin update: If @DrJillStein writes check by Tues, recount starts Thurs. Elex Comm denies hand recount, but counties can choose to do.

Jill Stein initiating recount now in Pennsylvania. She filed recount requests today in 100+ precincts in the state.

Patrick Marley

BREAKING: @DrJillStein says she will sue in Dane County to require recount to be done by hand.

Danny Freeman ‏@DannyEFreeman
If Stein &/or De La Fuente pay by tomorrow, there will be a WI recount between Dec 1-12. Elex commission recommends against full hand count.

Danny Freeman ‏@DannyEFreeman  16m16 minutes ago
WI clerks/counties etc can opt to do a hand count if they'd like, but it is not mandatory as Stein had hoped. Only Judge now can mandate.

I wonder why good ol' Jill isn't calling for a recount in NH? The Senate race there is very close. Ah, but the Democrat is leading, so...
doesn't want to run afoul of the Angry NH Women

Stein having difficulty finding voters to formally request a recount: http://billypenn.com/2016/11/28/how-the-pennsylvania-recount-is-going-so-far-in-philly-not-good/

might only recount 50 precincts.

Alt-right is now calling Stein a "Clinton surrogate".

This is hillarious.

So they can't add a list of 72 numbers, but we're supposed to believe they got the vote count right?

Democratic House and Senate candidates got more votes.  Also, we won the popular vote by 2%.  The American people didn't vote for your dystopian fantasy.

Jesus H. Christ.  Now this guy wants a recount? And who is this De La Fuente idiot again? Hey liberals, no amount of moaning and complaining is going to change the result.  I will say it yet again....TRUMP WON.  YOU LOST.  If you don't like that....suck it up, and try to do better next time around.  Case closed, LOL

So what's the problem with a recount?

This.  Anyone who is having his time "wasted" is being paid for that time.  Anyone who is having his money "wasted" is choosing to spend that money.  So there is really nothing to be upset about.

These recounts will certainly result in vote totals that differ from the original ones, pointing out the fact that our votes are never counted accurately.  I think that has value.
