...TRUMP WON.  YOU LOST.  If you don't like that....suck it up . . .
Trash talking as though this was some sort of sporting event diminishes its importance.  Elections have consequences.

Those who voted for Clinton (or anyone else other than Trump) didn't lose the election; they weren't running.

It's my judgment that they, along with all other Americans--including those who voted for Trump--lost by electing a president who clearly has no idea what he is doing--and perhaps more importantly, doesn't know what he doesn't know.  His clownish behavior has not decreased since the election, and I see no reason to think that it will decrease after he's inaugurated.

The WI secretary of State has an excel sheet comparing the count vs recount.  After two days of the $3.5 million WI recount, a few hundred precincts have reported.  Clinton has gained 24 votes and Trump 10.
http://elections.wi.gov/publications/statistics/recount/2016/12-2-spreadsheet
However, the data from Milwaukee makes no sense, the old and new data looks like random numbers so I did not include those results.  Also in one other weird precinct Trump appears to have lost 119 votes and Clinton 128, so I did not include that data either.

At that pace, Clinton would net less than 100 votes overall.

While that's probably what's going to happen, Milwaukee's absentee ballots haven't been recounted yet so the number is incomplete.

Trump supporters and the GOP are apparently taking this court to end Stein's recount.

Should be noted Clinton won this county by 50 points so if, god forbid, there were voter fraud occurring against the dems, it wouldn't be here. Menominee County is home to an Indian reservation.

Does anyone even realize that it is virtually impossible to change a vote result in a recount from one candidate to another if the margin is 500 votes or more?

It will shift some votes here, some votes there, but really make no difference.

Yes, sadly. So in 2020 I hope we both accept the result, whatever it is.

The money for the recounts was donated by people who wanted it spent on recounts.  Nobody's money is being wasted.

What do they have to hide? The money's been spent already, that's clearly not the issue... Not saying anything actually happened, but this smells a tad fishy to me.

Jill Stein's running mate Ajamu Baraka is opposed to the recount efforts.

Any update on this? Most recent data?

Going off of Wisconsin's latest spreadsheet from today, and not including Milwaukee County which is being done differently than the others, then with about 30% of the state recounted, Trump has gained 245 votes, Clinton has gained 398 votes, Johnson 68, Stein 46; Clinton has netted 153 votes so far, which is better than she was on pace for before, but she's still very, very far from anything substantive changing.

153 is kind of a lot. Urban Areas tend to have the most mistakes, so we'll see.

5 counties have completed their recounts. In those, Trump has lost 18 votes while Clinton has lost 19 votes, for overall Trump +1.

Trump has also gained 440 votes in Oneida County before the recount even started due to a recording error in the town of Hazelhurst (his vote total was reported at 44 instead of 484).

Ed Morrissey ‏@EdMorrissey 4h4 hours ago

So far they have recounted over 700,000 ballots of 2.975 million. Change thus far: 349 ballots. Trump +12.

Mostly they are onesies and twosies.

Dane is +25 for Clinton, but that includes +18 from one ward in the city of Monona. Madison is not recounted yet. Drop out Monona, and it is conceivable that Trump is increasing his vote share.

Iowa County. The Village of Avoca was 108T:105C. The recount shows 215T:375C. The total vote for all candidates is 634 votes, in a village with a 637 residents.

Looking at the alphabetically adjacent villages:
Arena: 2012: 120R:313O; 2016: 150T:223O
Barneveld: 2012: 181R:426O; 2016: 215T:375O

So Trump gained some, and Clinton lost more.

But I just noticed that the Avoca "recount" matches the Barneveld original count. So they entered the Barneveld recount on the Avova recount row.

Manitowoc/Town of Centerville. A note says that a bag with 24 ballots was not counted on election day. But the town was 70% Trump, and it appears that the bag was 24-0 Clinton. It sounds like something like the Maine recount.

Milwaukee

The city of Milwaukee is recounting their absentees separately from election day ballots, and Clinton is down about 15,000 votes.

The city of St.Francis shows a change from:

Trump 3634: Clinton 3576 (original)
Trump 2002: Clinton 2676 (recount)
Trump 1632: Clinton 900 (loss)

The lost votes are 65% Trump. I suspect they may originally have run absentee ballots through the scanners twice. The recount looks more like Johnson Feingold and 2012

Johnson 2202: Feingold 2657
Romney 2296: Obama 2977

And the trend looks similar to Cudahy. A city tucked in between the airport and a city named after a meatpacker is likely not the leafiest of suburbs.

So this may be the first real change, about +732 to Clinton.

Sauk. The December 2 report showed the Town of Woodland almost disappearing. But it appears that the recount for the Village of Cazenovia was entered on the wrong line. Only a tiny bit of the village is in Sauk County (7 total votes), with most in Richland County.

The December 3 report corrects this.

Walworth.

Town of La Grange: Gain of +63 Trump, +81 Clinton, +10 Johnson provides a better match to the senate race, both for candidates and votes cast.

Washburn.

Town of Bashaw +31 Trump due to error in original certification.

Accounting for the mistakes in entry (Barneveld data on Avoca row and Lafayette data on La Grange row), the real net:
Trump +74
Clinton +47
Castle +3
Johnson +28
Stein +41
Moorehead +3
de la Fuente -6

Through day 4, trump's lead increases by 39. Nearly a million ballots have been recounted.

Discounting Milwaukee since they have not counted absentee ballots:
37% of the votes recounted.
Stein +41  (still not winning)
Clinton +71 (still not wining)
Trump +110 (still winning, margin increased by 39)

Given Stein paid $3.5 million for this absurdity, each of her "found" votes has cost $31,654.
