I’m going to go out on a limb, be anti-pc and say RIP, FF with a stalin moustache in my mouth.

In actuality, he’s many part’s good, and some part’s bad. He’s done a lot for the development for Cuba (but muh rich refugees), comparing the state of social welfare and economic development of Cuba compared many parts of the third world, and even post-communist capitalist countries, has been much better. He’s done a lot for the international socialist movement and the Latin-American left, and provided medical resources and foreign aid for countries in need, from such a small country like Cuba, who was viewed before as a banana republic of the US.

To say he’s the reincarnation of the devil, unless you’re free-marKKKet capitalist right-winger is ridiculous.

The Cuban situation isn’t perfect and can of course be improved, many of the economic woes lie in because of the US embargo, and the restrictions on trade, and the fall of the soviet union.

Seriously though... this reminded me that one of the reasons I don't like the Left Party in Germany is that they've got a sub-organization called "Cuba Si", which is basically a club of Castro lovers. They've also already posted an article headlined "Thanky you Fidel, for your liefe's work" on your website. Sad

Good on them.

Also, shout out to the folks who cheered Margaret Thatcher's death and will spend the day crafting nuanced appraisals of Castro's rule.

And shout out to the people, who cried with thatcher's death, and were very offended that one could wish a person to hell in damnation, doing the same to Castro.
