i am pretty sure, if the EC/PV difference stays that lopsided, it is going to be changed anyway.....2 in 5 elections is bad, could get worse.

atm it's the law of the land and game over.

it would just be not very clever of the president to ignore the - practical - "silent majority" who hasn't voted for him.
