They definitely are...Trump said this in a tweet, Dems are actually supporting Greens with the recount nonsense. What happened to Hillary's "let's move on and give Donald a chance"?

Some are supporting a recount, which does not necessarily mean that they don't accept the results. Accepting the results and "giving Trump a chance" are also not the same thing. And it's one thing for ordinary voters to be outraged. It's another for the President-elect to say something so ludicrous and petty even though he already won the election.

this is just the state of the art way to talk directly with your voters today without critical filters.

the president claims that the election was rigged - plain and simple.

anyways, extrapolating from the actual confirmed cases of fraudulent votes this election, trump would've lost the popular vote by even bigger margins (three million fake votes → c 49.1%/45.1% t)

The Clinton camp did indeed say that they thoroughly went over the results and found no evidence of mischievous behavior or any other reasons that would indicate the count was wrong. The reason they jumped in on this was that because Stein was doing this regardless of what Clinton's campaign did, they (CC) might as well get involved to make sure the recount is conducted properly. It's going to happen with or without them, so there is no benefit to staying out of it.

I don't see what the problem is here. If Republicans are mad about the recount, it shouldn't be at the Clinton campaign or the Democratic Party. Neither Clinton nor the party initiated this recount, and not all us lowly voters/supporters think there is a point in having a recount either.

Wow, even in victory, his ego can't stop him from being petty. Enjoy your man-child-in-chief, America.

Just in case anyone was buying the ongoing attempts to normalize the incoming Pussygrabber administration, remember that this is what the next four years are going to be like. (Unless he quits, gets impeached, assassinated, etc.)  A President who, at the slightest hint things might not be going completely his way, launches into unhinged rants about conspiracy theories that would make Art Bell embarrassed to repeat.

Thanks, Republicans!

Trump is an embarrassment. You should have voted for Clinton, at least she was fit to serve. This'll be a long four years.

Trump won the non California popular vote, which is very important in our system.

"if you take out california, little donny actually won the popular vote"
if you take out a handful of rust belt towns, clinton won the electoral vote. substantially smaller change.

So, is this a precursor to announcing Romney as Secretary of State (the ol' bait and switch to the base) or a genuine outburst of rage that his godhood is being questioned? I really can't tell.

In any case, I fervently hope Clinton clears 3 million vote popular vote lead. That may make his Orangeness turn a nice shade of puce at the thought that more Americans prefer her than him.

Incidentally: he's now accusing Virginia, New Hampshire, and California of conducting "serious fraud." So, can the Republicans defend their new Orange God?

At least to all but an avowed white power enthusiast like the above poster, of course

Good on McMullin for calling this out; it's a dangerous world we live in that he's one of the few conservatives we can turn to in order to stand up to Trump.

Another thought: I cannot hope but fear that this, and the possibility of a cabinet post for Kris Kobach, is a foreboding sign for how a Trump administration will look at voting rights going forward.

Nationwide Voter ID would get a unanimous R vote in Congress.

Kennedy and probably even Roberts and Thomas wouldn't stand for nationwide voter ID. The precedent it'd set for federal encroachment on something that's typically state jurisdiction would be massive.

After this cycle, I have a very very low opinion of Republican's willingness to stand up to totalitarian ideals.

in general, i agree, but one would hope that the scjoti, not having to deal with republican primary voters, could afford to be more principled
