I like some of their music, some of their music can be too explicit, and I am not a Republican. I'm a proud Independent. However, I've noticed some Republicans in the media have thrown some vitriol against the superstar music couple. Why is that so?

They are both trashy people who make awful music. What do you expect of corporate owned Hollywood celebrities?

Also, while race has nothing to do with why I don't like them, other might have, err, differing, uhh, attitudes.

I couldn't pick either one of them out of a line up of similar celebrities.  I'm pretty sure Jay-Z is black so I'd know the difference between him and Macklemore, I have no idea about her.

EDIT: Really trying to be nicer on this site.  But this is a ridiculous post, and I think some of you red avatars need a nice, friendly slap in the face to generate a more down to earth attitude. Smiley

I'm not a republican, but I don't like Beyoncé because my sister doesn't seem to know how to stop singing her songs.

Who is that, Cam'ron? I think Bill O'Reilly had him on his show a few years ago ranting about black music.

Because they're Hollywood celebrities who vocally supported Hillary Clinton. Why wouldn't Republicans hate them?

Well, I mean, Magna Carta Holy Grail was a pretty disappointing entry to Jay Z's discography.

I think alot of it has to do with the reason that they are black. Other than the Charleston Shooting I can't name many instances in which Republicans praise, show condolences, or even show respect for anybody in the African American community in fact the opposite.
