link - random article from The Guardian

Some key "features":
1.mandate that ISPs keep a record of users metadata and where they went for the last 12 months
2.lots of people can look at it, dozens of different agencies
3.it's NOT about fighting terrorism, it's been brought to you by the fine folks at Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (monitors labor rules in the agricultural sector)
4.of course there are protections to keep them from snooping on politicians, 'cause they special!

If you've ever bitched about the Patriot Act, this is worse.  And soon they'll be banning porn with women ejaculating and spanking.   ugggg UK, wtf is wrong with you?

I like how the thing you find most worrisome about authoritarian surveillance of an incredible caliber is losing access to certain kinds of porn.
How did you possibly come to that conclusion?  The porn thing was an after thought....which is why it was right at the end and not mentioned in the title.  The porn thing is obviously horrible, but way less so than the other garbage.
