We don't know the details.

For all we know the 1,000 jobs could be 1,000 temporary positions that pay $7.25 an hour and will end on January 21, 2017.

You'll know when he and each worker is popping a bottle of TRUMP brand champagne on the factory floor this Thursday Wink

Or wait, was it Trump vodka?

More Trump propaganda, like when he took credit for saving Ford jobs.

he is "picking winners and losers" too.

i am not critical of that approach - i just laugh at the republicans doing this after raging against it for at least 8 years.

in fact this if OFC encouraging other companies to threaten trump too.....trick or treat!

Lesson number 1: Never trust big business. They were planning to relocate those 1,000 jobs to Mexico simply to increase their profit margin. That they chose to stay means somehow they'll be increasing it by remaining in Indiana. This raises the question of how that will happen. Tax breaks and "incentives?" Slashing employee benefits and/or wages? It's good these workers will keep their jobs, but there's more than meets the eye here and I don't trust it.

Important point here: CEOs have incentives now to threaten to move jobs to get lower tax rates.

Wait on the fine print. Donald always pulls a stunt like this, and then months later, we find out there's some amazing fine print and they end up offloading these jobs to Mexico anyway. This is not the first PR stunt he has pulled and the entire point of this operation was for PR purposes.

This is a PR stunt.

Trump supporters are so dumb.

Do you people not understand how the economy works? I prefer the free market over corrupt crony capitalism myself but I guess Republicans don't.

my gut says this would delay the outsourcing of these jobs but not actually prevent it in the long term
