No. Trump will be a conventional GOP president in that regard. Nobody expects him to do anything for disabled people.

I am absolutely convinced there was a death toll from other recent GOP policies such as slashing welfare and stuff. So I'm sure there will be a death toll caused by Trump.

The Americans with Disabilities Act was signed by a Democratic President?

What, precisely, do you expect in the way of legislative changes?

The Americans with Disabilities Act was signed by a Democratic President?

Passed by a Democratic Congress, sponsored by a Democrat from Iowa, and signed by a moderate Republican President. Let's not pretend it was a GOP accomplishment. And let's not pretend this GOP Congress is hospitable to people with disabilities.

It was amended again and GDubs signed it.......the pubs aren't against it.  Relax.  Oh, and it was passed by a unanimous voice vote in the house and 78 votes in the Senate........very bipartisan

The Bush regime forced Congress to weaken the ADA before he signed it.

But of course the right-wing statist media lets Bush take credit for the ADA.

I'll be sure to alert those on Atlas when I believe Trump is going to send people my way to kill me for being disabled. That way the irrationally scared Trump haters can say "I told you so."

In all seriousness, given that he's going back on most of his campaign promises, I'm not really too worried about dying because of the Trump administration. It might be terrible, but I think we will survive.

The ADA is too stringent and has resulted in businesses receiving litigation left and right from opportunistic lawyers.

Our society is too litigious and this has been ripe for lawsuits.  My point was, Bandit has a hard on because HW gets credit for it instead of the Dems and he says it's because the righties keep propping up HW as the bill's champion.  Well, Obama did the same thing.  Of course either Bandit hasn't been back on this thread or he just didn't like the link I posted, I"m not sure which.
