He looks like a mannequin that became real. That and his third wave identity politics on steroids is why I voted HP.

Not a conservative but I took the opportunity to give a HP vote to him anyway.

This thread was made for conservatives. I think Trudeau is a HP. This thread was created for conservatives. The FF and HP options for Democrats were designed for conservative Democrats specifically.

I put up a "conservative D" option for Democrats of your kind, conservative ones.

He seems like a nice lad, but doesn't strike me as a good leader.

Also, his comments fawning over Fidel Castro did not amuse me one bit.

Voted HP (R), but his brand of leftism is definitely preferable to many other brands. I'd easily vote for Trudeau against the NDP, or most European leftists, if forced to pick.

Yes, Trudeau is a better choice than the NDP and most European liberals.

Ideologically he's less bad then previous Liberal Party leaders and PMs (yes, including his father) but he's still a major HP.

The Fidel Castro mishap also proves that he's just a pretty boy with no actual understanding of governing.

Yes, this, and I would have voted FF before the UNRWA and Fidel failures. And I like him on a personal level. Seems like a friendly, well-meaning guy to me.

I'm not really a conservative these days, but he gets a big demerit for his shall we say "unbalanced" comments about Fidel Castro. Kudos to Pelosi and Sanders for getting it right.

Well it's not too difficult to be better than the FDP and the Lib Dems.

I am too much to the left to vote in this but I am going to pitch in to say that his remarks re: Castro were likely thanks to his personal ties to the Castro clan (see: Pierre and Fidel). Ofc I disagree with his statements too, but at least, I find it pretty easy explaining them.

well if you meant that; why didn't you say it?  Like it makes no sense to talk about "European liberals" when you mean Labour or the SPD or whoever, and not the Lib Dems or the FDP since the latter are Liberals while the former, well, aren't (well, they aren't meant to be).
