Well, this election in and of itself proved that "majority rules" does not apply in America.

Well, it still can:



At least we know which provisions of the current law will still be in existence in any (final) replacement Republicans come up with.

if don't like the mandate that penalizes uninsured people. That needs to go.

Which would mean having older, sicker people pay more for their insurance than those younger and healthier (as Republicans seem to be proposing).  Which in a way suits me just fine if I were looking at it from a purely self-interested mindset.
