Trump voters, it's clear that Trump is not going to be the president you probably thought he was going to be. Just consider these:

- He's appointing people to his cabinet that have vast levels of experience in government.
- He said he wasn't a racist. Then he turns around and chooses Steve Bannon and Jeff Sessions for top positions in his administration.
- He said he would repeal Obamacare in its entirety, now he has said he wants to keep select provisions exactly as they are.
- He claimed to have an idea of how to run a government based on his business experience, however we now know that Obama has had to give him a crash course on things like the need to hire a full staff.
- He is strongly considering appointing disgraced general David Petraeus to his cabinet
- He is no longer committed to deporting all illegal immigrants
- He wants the SCOTUS to uphold Obergefell vs. Hodges
- He is going to keep the U.S. in NATO

All but Petraeus are things he was pledging to not do/promote in the campaign, and in the case of Petraeus, it's objectively bad for the country. At best for a Trump voter, he's just Generic R. At worst for a Trump voter, he's a democrat in disguise that just agrees with Rs on a few select issues.

It is time for Trump voters to repent and to admit that they should have went with either Gary Johnson or Hillary Clinton. This thread is the place to do that.

Trump has not even been sworn in yet, but already he has created 1000 jobs.

Under Obama, 5,000,000 jobs were lost.

Nothing to repent of.

No, no, no, those were created by President Mitt Romney, don't you remember? He got the unemployment rate all the way down to 6% by the time of the 2016 election, which no one thought was possible.

And Trump will most likely create 20,000,000 jobs.

And with Mitt Romney as Secretary of State, the Trump administration and Romney will have achieved world peace by the end of Trump's terms.

Considering the political lay of the land in Thailand, destroying the main popular vehicle for the royalist faction is a pretty ambiguous accomplishment.

Great news!

He lost the popular vote  His failed presidency will give the Democrats majorities in both houses and the presidency. HE will be the 21st century Herbert Hoover, except Hoover was a good person.

Trump's presidency will make the 1930s look like the 1990s economically. And the survivors of his administration will number in the thousands but be radioactively poisoned from nuclear fallout (a generous estimate).
See I can be an ridiculous hack too.

How about destroying both the main popular vehicle, the secondary popular vehicle, and the propaganda machine attached to both?

Alexander the Great marched into Persia and defeated them with an army. Trump the Great destroyed the Republican party establishment, the Democrat party, the bourgeoisie class of global warming scammers, bankers, and globalists, and of course the incestuous savage brutes in the political media. And he did it with a Twitter account and a Megaphone. No second amendment remedy required.

Predictions from people who have been demonstrably wrong on everything in 2016 are worth, well, $.01?

Trump is appointing Republican establishment figures, globalists, and bankers to his cabinet in a defeat of his supporters. Yet somehow they support him because reasons.

That depends on what you think the 62.6 million Trump supporters are.

Here's a possible reason for that support. They don't like you and Hillary and wanted to give you all a massive middle finger.

You're not explaining how Trump in any way affected the fortunes of the Thai royalist party. Are you referring to the Democratic Party?

Trump voters are never going to repent. They're going to deny ever supporting him when Trump turns out to be a disaster. Oops, sorry, I totally meant if Trump turns out to be a disaster.

This thread is based on the premise that the majority of Trump's voters voted for him because of his faults while most people voted for him in spite of his faults.

Well you seem to still support him despite him not doing what you think he was doing, which was the point of my previous post. And I don't believe the reasons you stated were why most Trump supporters voted the way they did. That might have been why you voted the way you did, but the reason most Trump supporters voted for him was because they felt Trump cared about them, not out of hate for others (though they did not like Crooked Hillary).

Maybe in time you'll feel differently. Trump isn't going to keep his promises, and he might actually be genuinely dangerous for the country.

ah, but you see, the bulk of this forum, and especially of the trump-supporting subgroup here, are the kind of people that will experiënce the fewest negative effects. not as if any trump supporter on this forum has to worry about hate crimes, or access to reproductive health, or whatever

I don't expect Trump's presidency to be so great that we're going to get tired of winning. I hope it's a decent presidency and I "supported" him because I preferred him to Clinton as well as my confidence he wouldn't be able to go through with enacting his most toxic campaign promises.

I stopped reading after you called Senator Sessions racist. I know Sessions chief handler, have met the senator multiple times, had breakfast with the senator, my aunt knows the senator and worked with his campaign, and I talked to him at great length at the RNC. He is incredibly humble and kind. He is a great man. Please. Stop. Defaming. Him.
