If 2 years ago today someone showed you the final Presidential results map, who would you have guessed the candidates would have been, and how would you have assumed the campaign had gone?

While you are told the map and approximate percent for the winning candidate in each state in a 10% range (40%,50%,60% ect.), you are not told the final popular vote nor told who any of the candidates running are.

I would have guessed Hillary Clinton/Tim Kain vs Chris Christie/Scott Walker

I would have guessed that  Marco Rubio and John Kasich  did not run and Christie beat out both Jeb Bush and Scott Walker selecting the later to shore up support in the midwest, and Hillary Clinton ran mostly unopposed selecting Tim Kain to help in Virginia(which I assume is more competitive in this scenario.)

Edit:Tim Kain as vp would explain Virginia, and Chris Christie would explain NH being close and ME-2 plus Pennsylvania going Republican along with Colorado staying Democratize. I would gueaa that Scott Walker would be one of the few people that would cause the GOP to win both Wisconsin and Michigan.

Walker/Kasich vs. Clinton/Bennet. I would also figure that there must have been a strong third party, probably from Utah or with some appeal to Utahns. And that Walker must have said something to offend Mormons, while not offending anyone else.

We would have HAD to have known that something weird was going on with Utah's shading

That plus ME-02, which makes sense in retrospect but would've seemed ridiculously outlandish two years ago.

Haha, I would have no idea. Possibly Clinton v. Ron Johnson (?), but I would immediately denounce it as a junk map 2 YEARS AGO.
In addition, I'd wonder why the Republicans bled so much base in UT, while shoring up TN to over 60%.
