Yep. Noted liberal organization the ADL, which has been at the forefront of civil rights activism for both Jews and any group that is oppressed or stigmatized for decades, has dared to speak out in the defense of their own people and as such must be destroyed.

It's going to be a long slow march for Jewish Americans to become conservative (especially with the current group of right-wingers), but if one party wants to be actively hostile to even the most moderate of Jewish civil rights organization, Corbynization will have the same effect here as it did in the UK.

he is obviously someone who isn't hating jews but believed at some point or still believes to some degree, that the US foreign policy cares more about the security of israel than that of other states/ doesn't criticizes israel enough for (real or imagined) human rights violations.

and ofc he is a populist.....who states any opinion in a pointed and exaggerated way....which makes things worse.

i disagree with his notions....even while i understand why an american muslim would feel disenfranchised after 9/11....but rejecting him cause of a hypocritical stand regarding israel seems much better founded than calling him an anti-semite.

If it was just these comments, that'd be one thing, but Ellison has displayed a pattern of behavior with this.  Tbh, his defense of Louis Farrakhan is far more worrisome imo.
