You will reap what you have sown, Republicans:

Clinton allies plot anti-Trump movement
‘We’re going to throw everything at him that he threw at us,’ said one longtime Democratic operative.

Even at this very hour, President Elect Donald Trump and his advisers are in the Trump Tower, shaking in their shoes, as this band of Keystone Cops prepares to unleash its' fury and wrath against the United States government and against the people of the United States.

I think that Maddog Mattis quote applies here. Try to start a civil war, go ahead see where that gets you.

There's no progressive insurgency though, so why not? Sanders endorsed Schumer for Senate leadership, what's more 3rd way than that?

If it's conducted by Clinton allies then it's not an insurgency.

Maybe they can buy coat hangers for Christmas.

Judging by the infighting between True Leftists and more pragmatic Democrats, you're probably right about us being impotent.  Sad

You chose to run a corporatist with a high unfavorable rating and a trillion scandals over the most popular senator in the country. That seemed to work out pretty well against Trump, didn't it?

The person who gets the most votes in the primary is the nominee, like it or not. Thats the risk of belonging to an umbrella party like the democrats. If democrats are as divided now as we were in the primaries, we truly deserve to be in the minority.

Some people are forgetting that there is a midterm election in 2018. This would be very effective in gaining seats in that election.

Then again, Trump might cancel the elections in 2018 if things look difficult for Republicans, so there is a wild card at play here.

The Clinton campaign was about electability against someone with fairly radical views, and she lost against Donald Trump. You and all other Clinton hacks have no business whatsoever complaining about salt.

Learn to get over the damn primary.  If you think Clinton was so bad, Bernie lost to her.  He couldn't be so great if that happened.

Also the same with you.  Keep up the salt, it makes the child you are acting like really come out.

Primary electorate ≠ general electorate. It's consensus at this point that Sanders would've defeated Trump - even if for unfair reasons like not being accused of things that Clinton didn't do either.

I should mention I'd be on your side about salty bernie bros if Clinton lost to, say, John Kasich - and obviously you would be in the right if Clinton, ya know, won.

But now we all have to live under DONALD TRUMP. Bernie supporters are perfectly understandable to be damn angry about this choke artist job of a GE campaign. You're wasting your energy, you're biting the newbies, and you're the one acting like an angry child.

Honey, Bernie Sanders would have been shredded by Trump and the republican hit machine.  Why do you think they defended him in the primary's.  The damn rape essay would have sunk him, not to mention everything else that would have come out.  His damn folder of scandals is huge.  So much to hit him one.  So please stop with that damn line of thinking.

And we all are stuck with Trump, and I'm sorry that you a white presumably straight male have to live under him. Some of us have to now live in fear of getting harassed, which I have been.  Getting beaten up, which I know many have.  Or getting property damaged, which I personally have seen happen.

Now do what the Clinton people are doing and instead of bitching on the past, fight the man who now is in the white house.

Absolutely disingenuous. There are better ways to criticize sanders electability, however please stop pretending that the american people care about scandals.

The fact is that many people were desperately looking to vent their anger, and Clinton was just not going to do it for them.

Adding on to what the previous poster said, had Sanders and Trump gone face to face in a debate, Trump would have been exposed for the ideological fraud that he is. Many of the white working class that have become the Trump cult would have defended Sanders from far worse. Sanders could have eaten a baby on live television, and they would excuse it because he "wants to burn the system down".

You really think Sanders' rape essay would have sunk him?  Against the guy who said he actually GRABBED WOMEN?!  SERIOUSLY?!  LOL.

People would forgive an essay compared to "grab 'em by the pussy."

Erm, buddy, the American people didn't forgive a private email server against allegations of sexual assault.

Trump will win reelection handily for this reason and the Republican Party will remain in power until 2032 at the earliest.
