An absolute FS, especially if tuna mayo. My mother used to work at a sandwich company and they made the most delicious tuna mayo bread rolls.

Yes!

I've been extolling the virtues of tuna fish on this forum for over a decade.  Behold:

...Dollar Tree tuna  ...Wal Mart tuna and supermarket tuna and convenience store tuna.  ...ALDI ...tuna

A tuna fish sandwich is definitely the fast food of my choice.

I prefer fishy fish.  Tuna and scrod and such.  Barracuda is good too, when you can find it.

Hitler ...

Hitler ...    Ernst Röhm...

a tuna fish sandwich

fish sandwich...        tuna sandwich...

I never waste a drop of tuna juice.  You know how all those canned tuna recipes say, "one can of tuna, well drained."  I usually interpret the "well drained" part as "be sure to drink all the tuna juice that you squeeze from the canned tuna before using the tuna in this recipe."  Sometimes I just leave the juice in as well.  Anything that tastes good with well-drained tuna tastes good with tuna juice also.  But, more often than not, I drink the tuna juice.  Canned fish, fresh fish, even frozen fish.  All fish is good fish.  But fishy fish is the best fish.  If I can smell the long-chain amines and the nitrogen-containing heterocycles a few blocks away, I know it's going to taste good.

Actually, when we were children, and Mama would try to make my brother eat canned tuna, he would cry, "ewww, don't make me eat catfood."  I loved tuna then.  Love it now.  For a while, back in graduate school, I'd eat tuna fish sandwich every day.

I think I qualify as a "social democrat" although I don't typically use that label. I actually don't like tuna fish sandwiches that much.

FS! Lather on some mayo and add a nice layer of sour cream and onion chips, and you have one delicious sandwich.
