Never Trump Republicans were far less insufferable, and actually did what was right for America.

As a member of the latter (well, until I defected), my answer is obvious.

Honestly though, from the returns, it seems an awful lot of them went home to the Republican candidate in the end, enough to give him the Presidency.

Never should mean never, folks.

Most NeverTrump were neo-cons, so Bernie or Bust.

TBH if anyone outside the Beltway ever read the cartoonishly self involved Never Trump editorials this cycle, they *would * have helped elect Trump.

Some days, I'm amazed as to whom I find agreement with.  But, yes, it's this choice for me, and for these reasons.

Personally I couldn't stand either group. I was a BernieorBuster early on but eventually came around to being so horrified by Trump while gradually finding myself increasingly put off by most of the Green Party that I had a complete turn and not only voted for Hillary but even phone banked for her. I really couldn't stand the callousness of the busters who didn't really think through the consequences of what a Trump presidency would mean and was nauseated by seeing some of them gloat in response to the election results. The #NeverTrump types I also found reprehensible but in a way that I find traditional political opponents reprehensible in that most were neocons and religious right types who defected to Evan McMullian. In fact one of the many things I had to swallow was Hillary's constant snubbing of the left while she catered to a lot of disaffected Republicans, most of whom ended up sticking with Drumpf anyway.

NeverTrumpers generally voted third party as well, so they're even in that regard. Bernie or Busters mostly voted for downballot Democrats so they were slightly less bad.

I'm gonna say Bernie supporters.

I voted for Hillary in the primary and general election. It seemed like the NeverTrump movement was formed primarily to distance the republicans from Trump in future elections. They thought he would lose in a historic landslide and would cause latinos to start voting for democrats at the same rate as African Americans. Their primary quarrels with Trump had little to do with policy and more to do with the potential electoral damage he would do. Many of them were also neocons like Kristol, Bush, Graham which didn't sit well with me either.

Bernie or busters were insufferable at times on the internet, but they did seem principled. I doubt that they swung this election to Trump. Bernie campaigned incredibly hard for Hillary after the primary fight was over.
