That's an awfully low bar, yet Trump isn't guaranteed to clear it.

In terms of an isolationist nationalist policy advocate, yes.

But the question remains unanswered until we see how effectively he delivers useful change.

For example, if Trump effectively manages the southern border with appropriate immigration reform, then the democrats wont reverse it once they get into power.

Spending $25Bn on a wall is a complete waste of time with effective reform of illegal immigrants living inside the USA.

Similarly, most of the other promises will fall in a hole without effective and intelligent processes put in place.

Even odds, He will be about the same. About equal odds he will be substantially better or worse.

Given that Dubya was something of a disaster, Trump certainly has the potential to be better. Pity that he also has the potential to be much worse, but I prefer not to think about that.

Worse. Much, much worse over the next 8 years.

The Bush Administration was a slow burning fireball of a disaster but they did things I liked. (Disclosure: I wrote in Bush 43 for this election).

Compare: the Trump - Pence Administration (s?) will be the powder keg on the Ship GOP as it blows up in spectacular fashion as the world watches in disaster.

The GOP will be like this at the end:
