Tomorrow is only supposed to be 50 for the high, but, at least, sunny.  Saturday will be right back in the 60s, though.

Extremely weird weather these days:

A couple days ago it snowed 6-7 inches. This has melted away again.

Tomorrow and Sunday, there will be extreme Föhn-winds with up to 100 mph - which is pushing up temps to around 20-26°C (75°F), with Sahara desert dust coming - colouring the snow red !

Then on Monday, the temps are collapsing to zero degrees again with new snowfall ...

Extreme danger for the next 2 days (I'm in the 2nd red district in the east):

They are also projecting 2 feet of new snow for Monday and Tuesday ... Tongue

strange effect just now.  Thick snow falling (flash shower, but probably little accumulation), but the sun is shining.  There's a hard sun that hurts the eyes, with shadows, but it's snowing at the same time!

snow day!

My wife and I and my son all got the day off.  Good thing too.  We can't get out.  They ploughed the street today, but our driveway is buried under about a foot of snow and ice.  Clearing the driveway will take some effort.  I don't want to think about that just now.  Probably about 12 inches of snow fell overnight, and now there's a light sleet falling on top of that.  If the sleet lets up we'll go out and play.

I don't imagine we'll try to drive anywhere today, so I may wait till tomorrow to deal with the drive.

While you guys are having early spring snow days, here the heat isn't letting up, it's still regularly in the 90s, when it should be in the upper 70s, and cool changes aren't doing anything to stop it, as we've already had 2 in the last 1 1/2 weeks.

Yes, in New Jersey and the Northeast. It has slowed everything down this week. (Week of March 13)
Also, snow in N.J. in Jan. and Feb.

Hopefully after today and tomorrow's snow, it's the last of the season.

Spring 2017 starts I believe on Monday. Hopefully, we see 50-70 degree weather soon.
