Yes, I really don't know what happened there. This was seen as a plausible pick-up opportunity for the GOP in 2013.
From what I remember she looked like an idiot on the campaign trail and frequently made gaffes and looked nervous in interviews and debates. She was a terrible candidate, and was triaged very early.

It made sense she would lose, but not like this in a D+1 state rather than a D+8 one.
