We pull a classic "America". US wins the battles, China wins the war (eventually).
-We're fighting a war to separate two peoples with history, race, and geography in common
-China's gameplan here is to sink an Aircraft Carrier with guided missiles. The US would take more casualties than Vietnam in an afternoon if they were successful
-The US military is still superior to the Chinese
-China has a billion more people than the USA
-The USA is very divided, and extremely far away from the conflict zone
