What is the first election you voted in/will be voting in? Have you voted every time or skipped a few elections?

2013, but out of these, 2016.

And you forgot to include 2024 as an option.

I got to vote in the 2012 local elections (although there weren't any real choices though; I only had four candidates for three council places and it was pretty obvious who'd win since it was one from each of the four big parties and the Lib Dems were never going to gain a seat), the first General Election I got to vote in was the 2015 one although the independence referendum in 2014 was the first very important, contested election I got to vote in (the European Parliament elections are important; but not quite that important)

2018 Victoria state election, will enthusiastically be voting for the independent candidate in my district, since I know labor have zero chance in my district currently. Hoping that Daniel Andrews wins in a landslide.

The first time I could have voted was in 1984, but I didn't.
Then I voted in 1988, 1992, 1996, and 2000.
Then I skipped voting in 2004, 2008, 2012.
I voted this year. But I could turn pessimistic again by 2020 and decide to sit out that one.

The first election I voted in under my own name was the 2016 primary. The first election I voted in, using an absentee ballot cast by a conspiracy-theory grandparent who didn't believe in voting as a proxy, was the 2008 primary.

I voted in 2016.

I did not vote in the 2014 midterms (which I regret). Although it's not like Dana Rohrabacher was gonna be unseated. He won this district by nearly 30 percentage points.

2012, I was literally 2 months shy of the 2010 midterms.

I stayed out of 2013 [the candidates were Fast Terry and The C()ch...no thanks], but have been consistent since the 2014 midterms.

88.

That was the first presidential election anyway.  The first time I voted was in August of 1985, in a special congressional election to replace a representative who resigned.

The 2012 parliamentary election. Unofficially the 1998 parliamentary election, in which my mom took me to the polling station as a little kid and allowed me to vote for her candidate on the voting computer (which were still used back then). First and last time I voted for the left!
