I remember there was a debate a couple years ago about Kentucky vs. the 76ers in Basketball. Suppose the (winless) Cleveland Browns played the (undefeated) Alabama Crimson Tide at Bryant–Denny Stadium in Alabama. Who comes out on top?

The Browns would be heavy favorites, but it's more legitimate this time than it was in 2013 with the Alabama-Jaguars discussion.  I would give Alabama a 15-20% chance, but perhaps more if the Browns didn't take it seriously.

Obviously the NFL team.  However, it's hilarious we are even wondering, so the joke is on the Browns.

I say Cleveland, because I believe there is actually some talent on this team. But I am not one of those people who says its impossible for a putrid NFL team to lose to a great college team / pro player factory like Bama.

The Browns and it wouldn't be close at all.  100 times out of 100

Maybe if you could magically pluck the best 50 players in college and put them on one team and magically teach them all the same modern NFL playbook...maybe it would be close.  But a really good college team against a pro team is always going to get destroyed.  One is full of huge, fast dudes, the other has a couple of huge fast dudes and a lot of large quick guys, but large quick guys get destroyed by huge fast dudes.  Maybe 2 of the guys on the 'bama's line will be NFL capable in a couple of years, but the other three are going to be selling cars in their home town.  Even if half of each side of the ball for the Tide is NFL ready that still means the other half isn't and the depth is even worse.

a better question would be how bad would a HS boys All State team from say, Wisconsin beat an average WNBA team?  I'd say boys 75-women 52.

Browns, probably by 5 or 6 touchdowns.
