Trump is not a king. He might be gone in 4 years, yet the memory of Russian interference won't be. Putin has overplayed his hand in my opinion, and when the west finally gets itself together, Russia will be more isolated than ever thanks to his meddling.

there won't be any ideological west anymore.

the republicans are adapting putin's point of view and are grateful and there are enough super-dovy dems who also love putin to build a majority.

which west anyway....the only major western country not in turmoil are canada, australia and spain ...germany is on the edge and non of those are big military powers to start with
