I think the race is a tossup at this point. Any two of the three candidates could prevail.

Brooks verse Moore would be hilarious.

Brooks is much more of a sure bet to beat Moore in the runoff than Strange.

I believe they'll both beat Moore pretty easily

As a Democrat, I'd love to see a Brooks vs Moore runoff. The Democratic candidate will have no shot regardless of who Republicans nominate, but considering McConnell is heavily investing in this race and if Strange wins as a result of that investment, Strange will be more likely to go along with McConnell and the Republican majority. Brooks and Moore wouldn't owe McConnell anything, and since McConnell can only afford to lose two votes on legislation, a Brooks/Moore defection on key legislation could sink Republicans frequently. Brooks and Moore likely wouldn't be afraid to jump ship on key legislation because it isn't "conservative" enough (like Mike Lee opposing the health care bill, for example). So I'm rooting for a Brooks/Moore runoff.

Demonstrating new depths, Mo Brooks has an ad up featuring the audio of the Steve Scalise shooting in the background.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAVk_zFuOKw

Response from Scalise's chief of staff:

^^^^

Although to be honest the worst candidate for Alabama between the 3 is probably Luther Strange
